Tuesday, May 5, 1936

plesant all day
Hay pressers did not come to press hay today
I made tapioca custard this A.M.
Iliff came and we went to Hattlers to collect for debt on binder twine-
Forgot*
went to Mab & Henry's too-
had a fine visit- and nice day with Iliff-
Lizzie Hughes spent the day here-
Mother was good all day
I mowed the south lawn-

*The Hattlers forgot they owed a debt on binder twine? Apparently there was a shortage of binder twine at one point. In Canada it was illegal to import it from the US.
