Monday, September 21, 1936

plesant all day
Cool morning and evening but warm during the day-
Canned 3 pts of pickled pears* and picked a dish pan of tomatoes-
Harry called this evening on his way over to Iliffs'
Sent a letter to Hannah-
The well pumps like going dry-

    I think I might have to try that recipe. The threat of the well going dry must have been scary.
